Gamers began the year with potentially one of the most thorough in-game activations from a brand we’ve seen to-date. On January 3, Netflix’s Squid Game took over Black Ops 6 to further amplify the second season of the blockbuster original that dropped a day after Christmas. The trailer gave a glimpse at how deep the partnership was to go, but we as gamers still weren’t ready for how many elements of the popular title would be tweaked to accommodate this event.
